Things to do
Keswick attracts a wide range of visitors with its variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and galleries, a cinema, leisure centre, museum and well reputed theatre, there is much to see and do for those that like town life. Derwentwater, the nearby lake, offers travel via the launches, boat hire, fishing etc.
The whole Northern Lake District is a haven for walkers and those that enjoy ‘the great outdoors’. There are many other activities in the area to choose from though, including cycling, water sports, fishing, bird watching and golf.
